The role of the police sniper extends far beyond precision marksmanship and requires strategic leadership, operational planning, and continuous training development. This three-day Police Sniper Team Leader Course is designed for experienced snipers, team leaders, and supervisors responsible for managing and developing law enforcement sniper teams.
Students will gain practical leadership and operational planning skills necessary to effectively deploy sniper assets, manage team performance, and support mission success. The course also emphasizes training development, equipment evaluation, and communication with command staff regarding sniper team capabilities and operational limitations.
Through classroom instruction, live-fire exercises, and scenario-based training, participants will enhance tactical decision-making and develop the tools needed to lead and sustain a professional sniper program within their agency.
